"My daughter got a new beta fish a few days ago from a local pet store and it was not doing well. We went to petco and the girl there was SO incredibly helpful. She spent so much time explaining everything we needed to know and helped us get a better setup for the new fish. She knew we didn’t want to spend a lot so she was very helpful in showing us what we really truly needed without pushing other stuff on us. We got the fish switched over to its new home and he is thriving and my daughter is SO happy. I was incredibly impressed with the selection of things they have there and the vast knowledge of the employee, she seemed much more knowledgeable than the lady at the local pet store that told us our fish would be fine in a small round fish bowl with no filter or heater!"

"I live about 30 minutes away, and choose to come to this petco over similar businesses. Chi, their fish guy, is absolutely the best- we were actually recommended to come here specifically for him and I can definitely see why. It’s clear he’s incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about the hobby and wants to be sure people are taking proper care of the fish. All of the fish I’ve purchased from here have thrived after returning home, I cannot say the same for other suppliers. Definitely make the trip and come to this location for all your aquarium needs!"

"Love the store, but do not recommend Tyler has a groomer. My wife brought our dog in for a grooming appointment and a nail trim. When we booked this appointment we specifically booked the female groomer (i apologize i forget her name) as the past couple of times we have brought our dog, Tyler has immediately gone for her paws to "check them" causing our dog to become defensive. Last time I personally brought her in and Tyler went to do that, I reminded him to please leave her paws alone as she didnt like it the first time he did that. Now for this appointment my wife goes in having booked the female groomer and Tyler goes for her paws again causing her to be defensive. The female eventually took over for her wash / trim, but Tyler tried to clip her nails and his approach caused her to get defensive trying to bite him and the metal support bar the leash was tied to. When my wife went to pick up our dog she was told she was no longer allowed back for nail appointments and we should take her to the vet if we want her nails done. We have taken her to a couple different Petco Grooming locations in our travels for appointments, and have had no problems with her grooming and nail trimmings there. The store itself is great, love the rewards program, but even if it was just for a grooming appointment, we wont be returning"
